First order of business would be phones. Yes I know you can get a phone for around 50 dollars with a TWO year agreement.. meaning most of the time you won't be able to upgrade your phone until that two year mark at a reduced price unless you choose to buy it for full retail or from a site such as ebay! I would make you have a new every year not every two years and with a certain plan you can upgrade early on a time that won't change randomly whenever the company chooses to. A phone will not last a person two years. If you use your cell phone as if it's your life then they won't last that long. So that is just with the plans. Next order with phones is changing phones. It should be easy and free activation no matter what. I'm not to sure how I feel about SIM cards since if you lose your phone you lose the SIM card and therefore can lose your service. I like how you can just call in on the new phone and have it be changed to that phone. So third thing with phones.. they should be reasonable priced and be only the best of phones. You should have a 6 month free replacement once since phones can mess up and you could run out of manufacture warranty.
Hm next order.. service. There is going to be no HIDDEN fee's to do anything. The plan should be formed to each person's needs and not include things that they won't ever use.
Let's say you have an old grandma that is technology challenged who you want to have a cell phone. The phone first hand should be easy like a home phone and have large buttons and large print screen and be very durable. It should most likely be a flip phone. Lets say grandma just wants to talk long distance and she does for most of the day. Have an unlimited calls for 20-30 dollars a month. This way you can compete with land lines which they all know how to use and those can run about 50 dollars a month and the cell service is portable!
Now lets say your a tech genius and love the newest technology and always want the best of the best. New phones come out in flourish about 3 times every year it seems. So in that service plan include 2 phones at reduced price every year. The next most important thing is to stay in tuned with what is going on. Therefore have a unlimited data plan that isn't a ridiculous extra price it should be included in the plan price. Then you start off at a base price of about 60-70 dollars a month for a certain amount of mins and they go up and up until you reach unlimited. Now lets say we take off the 2 new phones every year then it would be about 4o and up.
This is all the time I have for today =) I shall finish later
